¿Quiénes Somos?
Since 1996, CIELO has provided hope to immigrants and refugees in Thurston, Lewis, and Mason counties. Our diverse staff knows the challenge of settling into a new land because many have done it themselves. CIELO offers educational, counseling, and advocacy services that empower our community members to realize their dreams. You can learn more about our current services here.
CIELO is more than just a resource center. We are a community hub where people form strong bonds with other immigrants and refugees, our staff, and volunteers who make our work possible.
Desde 1996, CIELO le ha brindando esperanza a los inmigrantes y refugiados en los condados de Thurston, Lewis y Mason. Nuestro personal diverso conoce el desafío de establecerse en una nueva tierra porque muchos lo han hecho ellos mismos. CIELO ofrece servicios educativos, de consejería y de intercesoría que empoderan a los miembros de nuestra comunidad para hacer realidad sus sueños. We believe that our differences make our community stronger. We provide opportunities for all community members to develop genuine respect and appreciation for our neighbors, regardless of their immigration status. We aim to educate, empower, and connect our clients seeking help with the resources they need to create better lives for themselves and their families. Healthier people are better able to advocate for positive change in their schools, workplaces, and communities. We all benefit!
